Attention! Here's how to remove the motor only.
Removing
1. Moisten the windshield with water.
2. Turn on the wiper and let it run for a short time. Turn off the purifier. The cleaner brushes should return to their original position.
3. Disconnect the wire terminal from the battery «masses» (-).
Attention! At the same time, some data is deleted from the memory of storage devices, for example, an access code is erased from the radio receiver, which prevents unauthorized use of the receiver. Before disconnecting the battery, read the instructions in chapter «Removing and installing the battery».
The windshield wiper motor is located in the drain box near the battery (see arrow in illustration 41.0).

4. Mark the position of the crank 4 on the axle with a marker to put it in its original place during assembly, and remove the crank from the axle by unscrewing the nut 5 (see illustration).

5. Unscrew the three bolts 6 fastening the motor and remove it by removing the brush holder drive levers (see illustration 41.4).
Installation
6. Connect the brush holder drive levers to the motor. Do not connect the crank.
7. Connect the wire terminal to the battery «masses» (-).
8. Connect the power plug to the motor and make sure that the motor is in the park position or set it to this position before installing the crank.
9. Put the crank in place, guided by the marks made before removal. Tighten the crank nut with a force of 25 Nm.
10. Replace and secure halves of fairing grilles.
11. Set the clock and program the radio.
