Removal
Turn the windshield wiper switch from position (0) to position (1), then from position (1) to position (0).
Remove the wiper arms.
Disconnect the battery.
Remove:
- air intake niche grille,
- windshield wiper mechanism.
Loosen the windshield wiper motor shaft nut (1).
Disconnect the plug part of the windscreen wiper motor connector (2) by pressing the spring latches.
Remove:
- windshield wiper motor mounting bolts,
- windshield wiper motor.
Installation
Attach:
- windshield wiper motor,
- battery.
Turn the windshield wiper switch from position (0) to position (1), then from position (1) to position (0).
Disconnect:
- battery,
- windshield wiper motor.
Install:
- windshield wiper motor,
- windshield wiper motor mounting bolts.
Tighten the windshield wiper motor mounting bolts to the specified torque (8 Nm).
Snap the fork portion of the windshield wiper motor connector into place.
Position the mechanism rods as shown in the figure below.
Screw the nut onto the windshield wiper motor crank.
Tighten the windshield wiper motor mounting bolts to the specified torque (16 Nm).
Install:
- windshield wiper mechanism,
- air intake niche grille.
Connect the battery.
Turn the windshield wiper switch from position (0) to position (1), then from position (1) to position (0).
Install the wiper arms.
