Removal
1. Remove the brushes.
2. Remove the heater fan motor.
Attention! In cars with air conditioning, to remove the heater electric motor, it is necessary to drain the refrigerant, which is subsequently pumped back into the system. For this reason, to perform this work, you should contact a specialized workshop.
3. Disconnect the windshield wiper motor power plug.
All models except SCENIC
4. Unscrew the two nuts 1 of the brush holder drive rods and remove the rods (see illustration).

SCENIC cars
5. Remove the fairing grille.
6. Remove the dust boots from the drive shafts 1 and unscrew the nut C (see illustration).

7. Unscrew the four F fasteners on the right and left sides (see illustration 42.6). The illustration only shows both fasteners on the left side.
8. Remove the fairing support joint O (see illustration 42.6).
9. Unscrew the three bolts O(see illustration 42.6). Left drive shaft (with nut C) remove from the mount by pushing downwards.
If necessary, disconnect the rod from the electric motor.
Installation
10. Secure the rods to the electric motor.
11. Place the electric motor together with the rods in place and secure with bolts.
12. Connect the multi-pin power plug to the windshield wiper motor.
SCENIC cars
13. Screw the nut onto the left wiper shaft and tighten it.
14. Replace the fairing support joint and secure it with four bolts/nuts.
15. Put the dust covers on the shafts.
16. Replace the fairing grille.
All models except SCENIC
17. Install the heater motor in place.
18. Install the brush holders.
