Removing
1. Remove the brushes.
2. Remove the heater fan motor.
Attention! On vehicles with air conditioning, to remove the heater motor, the refrigerant must be drained, which is then re-injected into the system. For this reason, to carry out these works, you should contact a specialized workshop.
3. Disconnect the wiper motor power plug.
All models except SCENIC
4. Unscrew two nuts 1 of the brush holder drive rods and remove the rods (see illustration).

SCENIC cars
5. Remove the fairing grille.
6. Remove the anthers from the drive shafts 1 and unscrew the nut C (see illustration).

H - glass cleaner motor plug
7. Unscrew the four fasteners F on the right and left sides (see illustration 42.6). The illustration only shows both mounts on the left side.
8. Remove the support joint O of the fairing (see illustration 42.6).
9. Unscrew the three bolts O (see illustration 42.6). Left drive shaft (with nut C) remove from the mount by pushing down.
If necessary, disconnect the rods from the electric motor.
Installation
10. Attach the tie rods to the motor.
11. Put the electric motor together with the rods in place and secure with bolts.
12. Connect the multi-pin power plug to the glass cleaner motor.
SCENIC cars
13. Thread the nut onto the left cleaner shaft and tighten it.
14. Replace fairing support joint and secure with four bolts/nuts.
15. Put anthers on the shafts.
16. Replace the fairing grille.
All models except SCENIC
17. Reinstall the heater motor.
18. Install the brush holders.
