Removing
Place the car on a two post lift.
Remove the hydroblock assembly.

Loosen the ECU mounting bolts on the pressure control unit and remove the ECU (pic. 6.99).
Installation
Do not clean the pressure control unit.
Be sure to replace the ECU mounting bolts.
Install the ECU by holding the edges.
Note. Do not put pressure on the ECU during installation, it should snap into place without force.
The hydraulic pump must be firmly pressed against the pressure control unit.
When installing a new ECU, be sure to secure the male connector located between the pressure control unit and the ECU.

Tighten the computer mounting bolts on the pressure control unit (pic. 6.100).
Torque tighten the computer mounting bolts to 3 Nm using the tool (Mot. 1608).
Install the hydroblock assembly.
Configure the speed measurement index using the scan tool.
Clear the fault codes stored by the ECU.
Carry out a road test to confirm that the problem has been corrected.
