1. Open the trunk lid, lift it as high as possible and place it on a suitable support or ask an assistant to support it.
2. To remove, unhook the bent end of the spring from the trunk lid hinge...
3. ...and from the bracket on the body.
4. Install the trunk lid spring in the reverse order of removal.

Note: If the springs do not hold the trunk lid open or, on the contrary, open it too abruptly, the force of the springs can be changed by moving their bent ends into the corresponding slots in the brackets (the slots are shown in the photo by the arrow).
