- To remove the rear cylinder head, you must first remove the engine and gearbox from the vehicle.
- Removal and installation of the rear cylinder head is carried out in the same way as the front head, taking into account the following.
- Tighten the rear cylinder head mounting bolts in several stages in the sequence shown in figure 2.26.
- Tightening the bolts on new cylinder heads:
step 1 - Tighten all bolts to 60 Nm.
step 2 - Loosen all bolts.
step 3 - Tighten all bolts to 40 Nm.
step 4 - tighten all bolts by 180°
- Adjust the valve clearance.
- Warm up the engine for 15 minutes at 2000 rpm.
- Re-tightening: on a cold engine (at least 6 hours after the engine has been stopped) - tighten all bolts to an angle of 50°.
