Removal
- Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
- Remove 4 screws and remove the top cover of the engine protective casing.
- Disconnect the flexible air duct from the throttle body and remove the air filter.
- Disconnect the accelerator cable and cruise control linkage.
- Remove the accelerator cable holder.
- Disconnect the air temperature sensor.
- Disconnect the connector from the throttle position potentiometer attached to the engine lifting eye.
- Remove the three bolts and remove the throttle assembly.
Installation
- Replace the throttle body flange paper gasket with a new one.
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- Make sure all connectors are securely fastened.
