Removal
- Remove the alternator drive belt.
- Relax:
- adjusting bolt (E. Fig. 2.31) Water pump/air conditioning compressor drive belt;
- the lock nut of the adjusting bolt and unscrew it as much as possible;
- 2 bolts (F) for securing the tension roller of the water pump/air conditioning compressor drive belt.
- Remove the belt.
Installation
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. It should be remembered that once a belt is loosened, it must be replaced with a new one.
- Tighten the belt in the same manner as the alternator drive belt.
- Install the alternator drive belt.
