- The performance of the fuel pump can be checked after disconnecting the fuel line on the right side member.
- Disconnect the red quick-connect fitting from the fuel return line.
- Connect a semi-rigid tube with a diameter of 8 mm to the quick-release coupling, and lower the other end into a 2.0 l measuring container.
- Check the pump performance, which should be at least 1.3 liters per 1 minute.
Note: When connecting fuel lines, make sure that two O-rings are present and that the line connections snap securely into place.
- If the performance is insufficient, check the fuel pump power supply voltage (if the voltage drops by 1 V, the pump performance decreases by 10%).
