5.1 Measure the installed brake pad thickness. Value «A» must be at least 6.0 mm
2. Put the front of the car on a lift and remove the wheels.
3. Disconnect the brake pad wear indicator cable from the terminal.
4. Remove both bolts (see illustration). To do this, install a ring wrench on the outside and an open end wrench on the inside. Guide bolts after removal do not clear from greasing.
5.4 Removal and installation of a support of the disk brake mechanism. Loosen both screws (1), at the same time lock the hexagons on the reverse side (2) wrench with open jaws
5. Carefully remove the disc brake caliper and attach with wire to the front suspension.
6. Check the condition of the dust rings and both rubber boots for the contact bolts. If they need to be replaced, clean the end of the piston and both pins with brake fluid and lubricate with special grease.
7. Install new rubber parts. Proceed as follows during installation:
8. Reinsert the piston into the cylinder. To do this, either use a puller (see illustration), or place a block of wood between the piston and the screwdriver and carefully slide the piston into the bore.
5.8 In a similar manner, the piston slides into the disc brake caliper cylinder
9. Install brake pads in reverse order.
10. Lubricate the screw threads of the guide bolts «Loctite», install the disc brake caliper in the correct position and install the lower bolt.
11. Then lift the disc brake caliper and insert the top bolt. Tighten both screws alternately to 35 Nm. Start with the bottom bolt again.
12. After installation, press the brake pedal several times so that the brake pads are pressed against the discs.
