Tightening torques, Nm
- Wheel bolts 90.
- Bolt of fastening of a directing finger of a floating calliper of a brake 40.
- Floating bracket bolt 100.
Removing
1. Install the pressure device on the brake pedal (reduces the amount of fluid flowing out).
2. Disconnect the brake pipe from the working cylinder.
3. Remove the brake pads (see previous page).
4. Turn away two bolts of fastening of a bracket on a rotary fist.
5. Completely disconnect a brake tube, rotating bracket.
6. Check up a condition of a brake tube and if necessary replace it.
Installation
1. Install the tube on the brake caliper.
2. Remove the pressing device from a brake pedal.
3. To check the correct operation of the working cylinder of the bracket, loosen the air release valve and allow the brake fluid to flow out.
4. Tighten the air release valve.
5. Establish bracket on a rotary fist and tighten bolts of fastening with the demanded moment.
6. Install pads and slave cylinder (follow the directions given above).
Repair
Note: if there are scratches on the cylinder mirror, the bracket must be replaced as a whole.
For this you need:
- remove the brake caliper;
- remove the dust cover;
- remove the piston with a jet of compressed air, inserting a wooden block between the bracket and the piston to prevent damage to the piston: damage to the piston skirt makes it unusable;
- remove the O-ring from the groove in the bracket using a soft, rounded strip (e.g. probe);
- clean parts with denatured alcohol;
- replace the defective parts with original spare parts and then install the O-ring, piston and dust cover.
