Tightening torques, Nm
- Wheel mounting bolts 90.
- Hub nut 175.
- Air release valve 5-8.
- Brake pipe holder mounting bolt 17.
Removal
1. Remove the brake drum.
2. Remove the upper tension spring.
3. Remove the pads.
4. Loosen the union nut of the brake pipe connected to the working cylinder using a union nut wrench.
5. Loosen the two bolts securing the slave cylinder to the brake shield and remove the cylinder.
6. Check the condition of the pads. If there are traces of oil on them, replace them.
Installation
1. Remove dust from the working surfaces of the drum and shoe linings using brake cleaner.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
2. Remove air from the brake circuit.
3. Bring the brake pads into working position by pressing the brake pedal repeatedly.
4. Check the closing pressure of the brake force regulator valve of the rear brake circuit (see chapter "Maintenance").
