Tightening torques, Nm
- Wheel bolts 90.
- Hub nut 175.
Removing
1. Remove the hub cap using Rou pullers. 943 and Emb. 880.
2. Fully lower the parking brake lever by loosening the rear parking brake cables.
3. Insert a screwdriver blade into one of the threaded holes in the brake drum for the wheel bolts and move the spreader lever to move the support portion of its rib away from the brake shoe E.
To move the expansion lever away from the block, move it backwards.
4. Remove the hub nut and washer.
5. Remove the brake drum.
Installation
1. Remove dust from the working surfaces of the lining drum with brake cleaner.
2. Install the drum.
3. Install the washer and hub nut, tighten it to the required torque.
4. Install the hub cap.
5. Adjust the position of the brake shoes by depressing the brake pedal repeatedly.
6. Adjust the parking brake.
Attention! Brake drums on both sides must have the same diameter, if one of the drums is ground, then the other must also be ground. Never allow the diameter of the drum to increase beyond the value indicated on it.
