Tightening torques, Nm
- Wheel mounting bolts 90.
- Hub nut 175.

Removal
1. Remove the hub cap using pullers Rou. 943 and Emb. 880.
2. Fully lower the parking brake lever by loosening the rear parking brake cables.
3. Insert a screwdriver blade into one of the threaded holes in the brake drum for the wheel mounting bolts and move the release lever to move the support section of its rib away from the brake shoe E.
To move the release lever away from the shoe, move it back.
4. Remove the hub nut and washer.
5. Remove the brake drum.
Installation
1. Remove dust from the working surfaces of the drum and shoe linings using brake cleaner.
2. Install the drum.
3. Install the washer and hub nut and tighten to the specified torque.

4. Install the hub cap.
5. Adjust the position of the brake pads by repeatedly pressing the brake pedal.
6. Adjust the parking brake.
Caution! The brake drums on both sides must have the same diameter, if one of the drums is reground, the other must also be reground. Never allow the drum diameter to increase beyond the value indicated on it.
