- oil softener.
Installation
Parts that must be replaced:
- Gasket of the pallet of a crankcase of the engine.
- Subframe mounting bolt.
Attention! Do not scrape the mating surfaces of the aluminum parts, as any damage caused by the felling may result in fuel leaks.
Clean the mating surface of the cylinder block with a super effective mating surface cleaner.
Attention! To ensure sealing, mating surfaces must be clean, dry and free of oil (don't touch them with your fingers).
Use a surface cleaner to degrease:
- mating surface of the engine oil pan in case of its reuse,
- mating plane of the cylinder block.
Attention! Applying too much sealant can cause it to be squeezed out when parts are tightened. The ingress of sealant into the coolant can damage some components and assemblies (engine, radiator, etc.).
Apply:
- four rollers (13) silicone sealant with a diameter of 5 mm,
- two drops (14) silicone sealant with a diameter of 5 mm at the junction of the front cover with the cylinder block.
Note: When removing the oil pan, make sure that:
- reeds (15) oil softener entered the grooves (16),
- the interface between the engine sump and the cylinder block is aligned to avoid damage to the clutch housing when connecting the engine to the gearbox.
Install an oil softener.
Install the engine oil pan with a new gasket.
Pre-tighten until contact:
- bolts of fastening of the pallet of a crankcase of the engine to the block of cylinders,
- bolts securing the oil pan to the gearbox,
- bolt securing the oil pan to the multifunction bracket.
Torque tighten:
- in the specified order by the required torque
- bolts of fastening of the pallet crankcase to the block of cylinders (14 Nm),
- bolts of fastening of the pallet of a crankcase of the engine to a transmission (44 Nm),
- bolt securing the engine oil pan to the multifunctional bracket (25 Nm).
Install the front suspension subframe.
Install the brackets.
Torque tighten the bracket mounting bolts (62 Nm).
Loosen the threaded rods of the tool one by one (Tav. 1747) and replace them with new front suspension subframe mounting bolts.
Torque tighten the bolts of the front suspension subframe (110 Nm).
Install:
- intermediate support mounting bolts,
- bolt (or bolts) fastening the right wheel drive flange to the intermediate support.
Torque tighten in the following order:
- intermediate shaft mounting bolts (44 Nm),
- bolt (or bolts) fastening the flange of the drive shaft of the right front wheel to the intermediate support (21 Nm).
