Withdrawal:
Note. The SRS control unit is located on the center console. Before removing the control unit, lock it with a diagnostic tester. Use only NXR or CUP testers.
- Disconnect from the central console a cover of the lever of a gear change.
- Turn away bolts (A) console mounts.

- remove the center console; block is located in front of the gear lever (Figure 8.69);
- Loosen the nuts (IN) securing the SRS control unit.
Lift the control unit, disconnect the wiring connector and remove the unit.
Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order. The arrow on the control unit housing must point forward. Connect the control unit connector after tightening the fastening nuts, make sure that there is no one in the car, and connect the battery. With the driver's door open, turn on the ignition from outside the vehicle and check that the warning light in the instrument cluster comes on.

Note. The connector of the control unit has special shunts that prevent undermining the system components when the connector is disconnected.
