Removal and installation the outer rear door handle (Renault Symbol 2)

Removal

• remove the door trim as described above;
• detach the protective anti-theft cover (see Figure 9.54);
• inside the door, disconnect the latch and the lock control rod from the lock or handle. When disconnecting the rod from the handle, remember its position to make it easier to adjust during installation (see Figure 9.56);

• unscrew the two nuts securing the handle from the inside of the door (Figure 9.58), turn the handle around and remove it from the outside of the door.

Installation

The handle is installed in the reverse order of removal.
