Removal
Disconnect the wires from the battery terminals, starting with the negative terminal.

Remove the air duct (fig. 2.238).
Disconnect the wiring harness from the throttle body and the fuel vapor recovery system hose from the canister purge solenoid valve.

Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the throttle body (fig. 2.239).
Installation
Replace the gasket each time the throttle body is removed.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten the throttle body mounting bolts evenly to the specified torque (13 Nm).
Connect the wires to the battery terminals, starting with the positive terminal.
