Removal
Remove the top engine covers. Move the air duct aside.

Remove the fuel vapor recovery system hose (fig. 2.240).
Disconnect the throttle body connector.

Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the throttle body with servo drive (fig. 2.241).
Disconnect the wires from the battery terminals, starting with the negative terminal.
Remove the air duct.
Installation
Replace the gasket each time the throttle body is removed.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten the throttle body mounting bolts to the specified torque (10 Nm) (f4R 776 engine).
Tighten the throttle body mounting bolts evenly to the specified torque (13 Nm).
Connect the wires to the battery terminals, starting with the positive terminal.
