Removal and installation the throttle valve unit with servo drive (F4P and K4M) (Renault Laguna 2)

Removal

Disconnect the battery. Remove the air filter housing.

Disconnect:

• throttle body connector with servo 1;
• fuel vapor recovery system tube 2 from the canister purge solenoid valve.

Unscrew the three bolts securing the 3 throttle valve block.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Replace the gasket each time the throttle body is removed. If necessary, use grease to ease the installation of the gasket.

When the ignition is turned on, the throttle valve unit must perform a programming cycle of the minimum and maximum throttle opening angles.

Use a diagnostic tool to verify that programming has actually been completed.
