Removal



Disconnect the wires from the battery terminals, starting with the negative terminal.

To replace the xenon lamp, you need to remove the headlight.

To do this, press the latch and the cover (Fig. 7.21).

Remove the high voltage block by turning it 1/8 turn counterclockwise (Fig. 7.22).

Disconnect the lamp retainer.

Corrector actuator (stepper motor) not removable.

If the actuator is faulty, the headlight must be replaced.

Installation



Hold the lamp by the base.

Caution: Do not touch the lamp with your fingers, and if this happens, wipe the lamp with a soft, lint-free cloth moistened with alcohol.

Install the lamp (the protrusion should be located opposite the headlight groove) (Fig. 7.23).

Install:
  • lamp retainer;
  • high voltage unit;
  • power supply wiring harness.

Note: Use only certified D2S lamps.


Install the headlight.

Adjust the headlights.
