The headliner is not glued to the roof panel. It is held in place by door seals, sun visors and grab handles.

You can replace the upholstery while keeping the wiring harness, or vice versa.
The wiring harness cannot be repaired. Be sure to replace it if it is damaged in any way.
Removal
Remove the upholstery.

Unlock the connector lock on the windshield opening pillar on the left side (Fig. 7.52).
Disconnect the connector.
Perform the same operation with the sunroof electric drive connector (depending on the equipment level).
Installation

Glue the wire harness to the upholstery using a hot glue gun (Fig. 7.53).
Carefully trim off any excess glue bead without damaging the wire harness.
Note: You can also leave the faulty wiring harness in place and glue a new harness along it.
Important! Be sure to maintain the previous position of the connectors relative to the edge of the trim. The mark on the wire harness must match the edge of the trim.
