You can replace the upholstery while keeping the wiring harness, or vice versa.
The wiring harness cannot be repaired. Be sure to replace it for any damage.
Removing
Remove upholstery.

Unlock the connector lock on the windshield pillar on the left side (pic. 7.52).
Disconnect the connector.
Perform the same operation on the sunroof power connector (depending on equipment level).
Installation

Glue the wire harness to the upholstery with a blow gun (pic. 7.53).
Carefully cut off excess glue bead without damaging the wire harness.
Note. You can also leave the failed wiring harness in place and stick a new harness along it.
Attention! Be sure to keep the same position of the connectors relative to the edge of the upholstery. The mark on the wiring harness must align with the edge of the upholstery.
