Vehicle identification plates
When ordering spare parts, please refer to the information contained on the manufacturer's identification plate.
The presence and location of identification plates depend on the vehicle modification.
A. Manufacturer's plate.
1. Manufacturer's name. 2. Vehicle type approval number. It is given in full in the vehicle registration certificate (VTS). 3. Identification number. Depending on the vehicle configuration, this information is displayed at the bottom of the windshield (B). 4. Maximum permitted laden weight of a vehicle (MMAS). 5. Maximum permitted weight of a fully loaded vehicle with a trailer (MTR). 6. Maximum permitted load (MMTA) on the front axle. 7. Maximum permitted load on the rear axle. 8. Intended for applying partner information or additional information. 9. Exhaust gas outlet in a diesel engine. 10. Paint number (color code).

Mass characteristics
Towing is prohibited if the MTR - MMAC ratio is zero, and also if the MTR value on the nameplate is zero (or not specified at all).
It should be remembered that the mass of the towed trailer is regulated by local legislation and, in particular, by traffic regulations. Regarding the towing hitch, contact the manufacturer's representatives.
In any case, when towing, it is not permissible to exceed the maximum permitted weight (car and towed trailer). However, the following is allowed:
- excess of MMTA on the rear axle by a maximum of 15%,
- exceeding the vehicle's maximum maximum weight by 10%, but not more than 100 kg (when the first of these limits is reached).
In both cases, the maximum speed of the vehicle with a trailer should not exceed 100 km/h, while the air pressure in the tires should be increased by 0.2 bar (3 PSI).
Engine power and climbing ability are reduced at high altitudes. We recommend reducing maximum load by 10% for every 1,000 m of elevation gain and then by an additional 10% for every 1,000 m of elevation gain.
Note: Until the maximum permitted laden weight has been reached, a load of up to 300 kg·may be transferred to a trailer equipped with a braking system, provided that the mass of the vehicle with the trailer does not exceed the maximum values.
