The interior trims are removed if they are damaged or to gain access to other body components. Removing the center pillar trim is described in the process of removing the front seat belt (see "Replacing the front seat belt"), as it is an integral part of the belt removal process. This subsection describes the removal and installation of the front and rear pillar trims. The vehicle design does not provide for threshold trims.

1. To remove the front pillar trim, pull it towards you and separate it from the pillar, overcoming the elastic resistance of its clamps installed on the pillar.

3. To remove the rear pillar trim, disconnect the wire connector from the rear window heating element bus and, pulling the trim towards you, remove it, overcoming the elastic resistance of the mounting pins.

4. Install the rear pillar trim in the reverse order of removal, pressing on it in the places where the pins are located until they are fully secured (with a click) in the holes of the rack.
