When disconnecting the brake hoses, proceed as follows:
- Loosen the union nut (1) metal brake hose connection (2), until the spring is released (3).
- Disconnect the hose from the gears (4).
- If necessary, you can unscrew the hose from the disc brake caliper.
- When installing, insert the end of the hose into the metal holder and install the spring (3).
- Connect the metal hose connection and tighten the union nut. Make sure that the hose is not twisted when tightening the union nut.
- To check, instruct the assistant to turn the steering wheel from one extreme position to another and make sure that the brake hose does not touch the suspension parts. Otherwise, loosen the connection and install the hose in a new position.
- All brake hoses with damage on the outside must be changed, regardless of the condition of the inside.
