Vacuum pump — diesel (Renault Espace I)

Vacuum pump (see illustration) serves to create a reduced pressure for the brake booster on models with a turbodiesel engine. Removing and installing the pump is not difficult. First, you need to disconnect the hose between the pump and the brake booster.



If the brake booster is not functioning properly, contact a car repair shop to have the vacuum pump checked.
