Nuts of fastening of a trench and a tube of an oil dipstick on a fuel distribution rail | 21 Nm |
Important note.
- Before working on the injection system, use the diagnostic tool to check that the rail pressure has been released and that the fuel temperature is not too high.
- When carrying out any work, the instructions for cleanliness and safety given in this document must be observed. It is strictly forbidden to carry out any work on the injection system while the engine is running.
Attention! To prevent corrosion or damage, provide protection to areas where fuel can be hazardous.
Removing
Disconnect the battery.
Remove the engine top cover.
Remove the dipstick tube and filler neck nuts (1).
Move aside the oil dipstick tube (2).
Disconnect:
- glow plugs (3),
- nozzles (4),
- injection pumps (5),
- inlet and outlet fuel lines (6).
- rail pressure sensor,
- accelerometer sensor.
Release the engine wiring harness from the holders and take it aside.
Remove:
- chute located on the fuel distribution rail,
- high pressure fuel line (7), connecting the fuel rail to the injector of cylinder No. 4.
