Tightening torques: Fuel temperature sensor - 15 Nm.

Removal



Note: Before proceeding with removal, make sure you have a new fuel temperature sensor.


Remove the top engine cover.

Disconnect:
  • pre-heating plugs (1) on cylinders No.3 and No.4,
  • injectors (2) of cylinders No.3 and No.4.

Disconnect the fuel temperature sensor connector (3).

Disconnect the fuel temperature sensor connector (3).


Clean the fuel temperature sensor.

Remove the fuel temperature sensor (4).

Remove the fuel temperature sensor (4).

Install plugs on the holes.

Installation



Lubricate the sealing ring with the grease from the tube included with the new part.

Note: Be careful not to damage the sealing ring during installation.


Remove the plugs.



Install the fuel temperature sensor.

Tighten the fuel temperature sensor to the specified torque (15 Nm).

Connect the fuel temperature sensor connector (3).

Connect: injectors (2) of cylinders No.3 and No.4, pre-heating plugs (1) on cylinders No.3 and No.4.

Start the engine.

Check for fuel leaks.

Install the top engine cover.
