Coolant temperature sensor (Renault Kangoo 1)

The thermistor transmits a signal to the receiver corresponding to the change in resistance depending on the coolant temperature, and if the temperature exceeds 118°C, the warning light on the instrument panel comes on.

Diagnostics

Connect an ohmmeter between contact 1 of the sensor and the vehicle ground.

Correct value: 160-1250 Ohm.

1 - Signal lamp sensor;
2 - Indicator sensor.
