Removing
Place the car on a two post lift.
Remove the engine undertray.
Loosen the two expansion tank nuts.
Move the expansion tank to the side.
Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor connector from the reservoir.
Remove the brake fluid reservoir cap.
Remove the brake fluid from the reservoir with a syringe so that its level is below the fluid supply port to the master cylinder on the reservoir.
Place a rag under the hole.
Disconnect the clutch master cylinder line from the brake fluid reservoir.
Insert the plugs into the holes.
Place a rag under the clutch slave cylinder.
Remove the plug from the bleed valve (3).
Click on the latch (1).
Attention! Do not pull on the latch. In case of any erroneous action, the pipeline must be replaced.
Pull out the hydraulic clutch line one click (2), to open the air vent.
Note: Take care to collect leaking brake fluid.
Connect the transparent hose to the bleed valve (3), by lowering the other end into an empty vessel located below the air vent.
Press the clutch pedal with your hand (to remove fluid from the master cylinder and piping).
Remove clamp (4) fastening the pipeline connecting the master and slave cylinders of the clutch drive to the master cylinder.
Place a rag under the clutch master cylinder.
Disconnect the pipeline (5) from the clutch master cylinder.
Insert the plugs into the holes.
Disconnect the ball head (6) clutch master cylinder from the clutch pedal in the cabin.
Remove the clutch master cylinder from the bulkhead by turning it a quarter of a turn clockwise in the engine compartment (bayonet lock) with the aid of a device (7).
Installation
Check the condition of the gaskets.
Note: The clutch master cylinder has an orienting element and can only be installed in one position.
Attention! When installing, do not use the fitting as a stop.
Install the clutch master cylinder by turning it a quarter of a turn counterclockwise (bayonet lock) using the fixture.
Install the ball head of the clutch master cylinder to the clutch pedal in the passenger compartment.
Remove the plugs from the holes.
Establish the connecting pipeline of the main and working cylinders of a hydrodrive of coupling on the main cylinder.
Press the clutch master cylinder lock.
Note: Apply brake fluid to both ends of the fluid supply line to the clutch master cylinder to facilitate installation of the line to the brake fluid reservoir port.
Install the pipe connecting the clutch master cylinder to the brake fluid reservoir.
Note: A characteristic click should be heard when the hydraulic clutch pipe is fixed.
Install the pipeline connecting the master and slave cylinders of the clutch actuator to the slave cylinder.
Remove the clear hose from the bleeder plug.
Remove the plugs from the holes.
Install the clutch master cylinder supply line to the brake fluid reservoir.
Install the expansion tank.
Torque tighten expansion tank nuts 8 (Nm).
Top up the brake fluid and top up the level.
Bleed the air from the hydraulic clutch.
