Removal



Remove:
  • driver side instrument panel lower cover holders (1),
  • lower cover of the instrument panel on the driver's side (2).

Disconnect the connector (3) of the clutch pedal travel sensor.

Disconnect the connector (3) of the clutch pedal travel sensor.


Turn the clutch pedal travel sensor (4) a quarter turn counterclockwise.

Turn the clutch pedal travel sensor (4) a quarter turn counterclockwise.


Remove the clutch pedal travel sensor (4).



Installation



Caution! To avoid damaging the clutch pedal travel sensor (4):
  • handle the clutch pedal travel sensor with care,
  • move the piston only during the adjustment phase,
  • do not perform more than 3 repetitions of size adjustment (X),
  • do not separate the piston from the sensor.


Replace the switch:
  • if the piston does not touch the sensor,
  • if more than 3 repetitions of size adjustment (X) have been performed.

Measure the size (x) (X) of the piston rod (5). If the size is less than 20 mm, gently pull the end of the piston to adjust the size within 20 mm (not less) 22 mm (not more).

Press the clutch pedal with your hand.

Install the clutch pedal travel sensor onto the pedal assembly.

Lock the clutch pedal travel sensor by turning it a quarter turn clockwise

Carefully allow the clutch pedal to return to its original position, supporting it with your hand.

Note:
  • The clutch pedal travel sensor is automatically adjusted depending on the pedal position.
  • When adjusting automatically, clicks are heard as the system transitions through fixed positions.


Connect the clutch pedal travel sensor connector.

Install the driver's side lower instrument panel cover.
