Removal


  • on a vehicle with electric windows, disconnect the negative battery cable;
  • remove the door trim;
  • lower the window by temporarily installing the window handle or connecting the contact connector;

  • carefully remove the inner and outer seals from the window opening (Figure 9.75);

  • if the old glass is to be installed, mark the position of the two screws securing the glass to the window regulator bracket, remove the screws and carefully lower the glass into the door (Figure 9.76);

  • unscrew the upper mounting bolt (Figure 9.77) and the lower nut securing the rear guide channel to the door (Figure 9.78). Support the stationary door glass, carefully unfold the guide channel and remove it through the window opening;

Tilt the glass forward in the direction of the arrow (1) and release it from the studs (2). Turn the guide in the direction of the arrow (3) and remove it from the door in the direction of the arrow (4). Remove the glass by moving it upwards.



Installation



1. Before tightening the bolts, fully lift the glass for correct orientation in the door opening. The bolts are tightened through special technological holes.

2. Install the door opening channel.

3. When installing the glass holder, maintain a distance of X = 18 mm.
