Note: Remove the front passenger side panel first, then the driver side panel.


Removal



1. Remove the wiper arms.

2. Remove the two concave hood panel grilles.

5. Remove the top cover strap by prying it up with a small screwdriver.

6. Install the front panel protection Sag. 1482.

7. Cover the glass opening with adhesive tape to protect the painted surface.

8. Pierce the windshield sealant and pull the sealant cutting string. Cut the sealant.



Note: You can use an air knife to cut the sealant.


9. Remove the windshield.

Installation



Note: For windshield sealant application instructions, refer to the sealant manufacturer's information sheet.


1. Install the glass on the lower supports, center the glass in the opening and mark the relative position. Apply sealant. Install the glass and straps of the pads.

2. Install the brush levers. When installing the levers, make sure that the brush drive motor is in the stop position. The tightening torque of the fastening nuts is 18 Nm.

3. On models with airbags, attach a label with the airbag unit number and installation date to the windshield (in the lower corner of the glass on the driver's side and on the passenger's side).

Considering the complexity of the operation of removing and installing glued glass, it is best to do it at a service station. It should be borne in mind that glued glass increases the rigidity of the body, and their incorrect installation sharply reduces the passive safety of the car.
