When working, refer to Fig. 3.110.
Removal procedure:
- disconnect the negative battery cable;
- remove the air filter;
- disconnect the throttle position sensor connector;
- disconnect the contact connector from the pressure sensor;
- disconnect the connector from the intake air temperature sensor;
- disconnect the connectors from all ignition coils;
- disconnect the throttle cable;
- unscrew the two bolts securing the throttle body;
- gradually unscrew the intake manifold mounting bolts, remove it and the gasket.
Install the manifold in the reverse order of removal, making sure the mating surfaces are clean. Tighten the manifold mounting bolts in the order shown. Replace the manifold and throttle body seals if necessary.
