On vehicles equipped with a manual transmission, a dry single-plate diaphragm clutch is used (Fig. 3.1).
Before performing any operations on the clutch, it is necessary to carry out several checks to ensure that the clutch is not faulty.
First of all, check the fluid level in the reservoir, then the condition of the hoses and their connections. Inspect the clutch pedal bushings for wear and secure fastening.
