Note: Door trim panel arrangement and design varies according to vehicle equipment level, so some trim panel locations may differ from the accompanying illustrations.
Removal
1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
Warning! If the radio in your car is coded, make sure you know the code before disconnecting the battery.
Front door (all models except Scenic)

1a. Disconnect the outside mirror trim panel from the front of the door.

1b. On Coupe models, also remove the small trim panel in the upper rear corner (refer to the illustrations).
2. Remove the speaker from the door.

3a. Remove the screws securing the storage compartment to the base of the trim panel.

3b. Move the small item storage compartment upward to release it from the mounting brackets.

3c. Then remove it from the door by disconnecting the wiring connector (where necessary) (refer to the illustrations).

4a. Remove the plug at the bottom of the armrest recess.

4b. Then unscrew the fastening screw and remove the plastic panel (refer to the illustrations).

5a. Loosen the mounting screw.

5b. Remove the inner handle by disconnecting it from the rod (refer to the illustrations).

6. On models with manual windows, remove the arm from the axle and remove the spacer (refer to the accompanying illustration).

7. Make sure all screws are removed, then carefully remove the trim panel base from the door (refer to the accompanying illustration).
Front door (scenic models)
1. Detach the outside mirror trim panel from the front of the door.
2. Remove the speaker from the door.
3. Remove the screws located at the bottom and in the speaker opening that secure the storage compartment to the trim panel.

4. Pull the top of the storage compartment outward to release the top mounting bracket, then lift the compartment up and off the rear mounting pin (refer to the accompanying illustration). Disconnect the electrical wiring connector (where necessary) and remove the small storage compartment.
5. Remove the plug at the bottom of the armrest recess, then unscrew the mounting screw and remove the plastic panel.
6. Where fitted, remove the cover fitted to the door trim panel below the mirror.
7. If equipped with power mirrors, working through the door opening below the mirror, remove the two mounting brackets securing the mirror adjustment control to the trim panel, then disconnect the wiring connectors. If equipped with manual mirrors, remove the rubber boot from the adjustment handle. Working through the door opening, loosen the clamp screw on the adjustment assembly. Press the tab on the side of the adjustment assembly to release the control cables.
8. Loosen the fastening screw and remove the inner handle, disconnecting it from the rod.
9. On models with manual windows, remove the arm from the axle and remove the spacer.
10. Make sure all screws are removed, then carefully pry the trim panel base away from the door and remove it.
Back door
1. Remove the screws securing the trim panel at the base of the storage compartment (where is available) and on Scenic models, also remove the rear window trim panel.
2. Remove the trim panel as described above (for all models except Scenic and for Scenic models), ignoring comments regarding electrical wiring.
Installation
1. Install in the reverse order of removal. Before securing the panel with brackets, make sure that all electrical wiring is (where it is applied) correctly laid out.
