1. Remove the front door lock actuator inner handle (see "Replacing the inner handle of the front door lock drive").
2. Remove the speaker from the acoustic system.
3. Remove the screws securing the upholstery to the armrest...
4. ...and the rear end of the door.
5. Disconnect the trim from the door panel, overcoming the force of the plastic pins that secure it. Remove the lock release button from the trim opening and remove the trim from the car.
Note.

Replace damaged pins with new ones by removing them from the trim brackets.
6. If necessary, remove the armrest by unscrewing the seven screws securing it from the back of the upholstery.
7. Install the front door trim and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
