Top up the coolant when the engine is cold to the "MINI" mark.
Attention:
- Do not check or service the cooling system when the engine is hot, as this may cause burns.
- When working in close proximity to the engine, be aware that it may be hot. Also remember that the cooling fan may turn on at any time. There is a risk of injury.
Check the coolant level regularly (without coolant, the engine may fail).
If topping up is necessary, use only coolant of those brands that are approved by the technical departments of the manufacturer and provide:
- protection against freezing;
- anti-corrosion protection of the engine cooling system.
Note: Replacement interval: see service book or maintenance and warranty card.
Caution: If the level drops rapidly or repeatedly, contact the manufacturer's service station.
