The air actuator A of the boost pressure control valve is controlled by the solenoid valve B, which is controlled by the injection computer. Depending on the operating mode of the engine, the solenoid valve changes the vacuum supplied to the pneumatic drive, which provides regulation of the boost pressure.
In the initial position, the boost pressure control valve is open. In this case, the engine runs without turbocharging.
The solenoid valve is closed in the initial position and the control voltage is applied to it after the engine is started with a certain time delay depending on the temperature of the coolant.
