Boost pressure regulation

Adjustment on the car (with F9Q 754 engine)

When checking the calibration pressure, it may be necessary to additionally adjust the length of the boost pressure limiting valve stem A (when the boost pressure goes beyond the tolerance limits).

Adjustment is performed without removing the turbocharger on the F9Q 754 engine, and after removing the turbocharger on the F9Q 750 engine.

Disconnect rod 1 and release regulator lever A.

Hold the stem on the boost pressure limiting valve side with 2 pliers.

Loosen the lock nut, then screw the threaded end in or out.

Check the adjustment result during a road test by monitoring the "Wastegate Valve Cyclic Opening Ratio" and "Boost Pressure" parameters using diagnostic tools.
