Removal
Remove the battery.
Disconnect the protection and switching unit 2 at points 1.
Move the protection and switching unit to the side.
Remove bolt 3 securing the air intake duct.
Drill out three permanent bolts using a 5mm drill bit along the bolt axis.
Remove:
- three battery shelf mounting bolts using tool (Mot 1372);
- shelf for the battery.
Disconnect the engine cooling system electric fan connectors.
Disconnect the wiring harness from the electric fan.
Remove the electric fan of the engine cooling system.
Installation
Install the electric fan of the engine cooling system. .
Disconnect the wiring harness to the engine cooling fan.
Connect the engine cooling system electric fan connectors.
Install:
- shelf for the battery.
- bolts for fastening the battery holder.
Tighten the battery bracket mounting bolts to 21 Nm stop:
- intake air duct mounting bolt.
- protection and switching unit.
- battery.
