Removing
Remove the battery.
Remove:
- ECU automatic transmission:
- relay block 1;
- mounting bolts 2 shelves for the battery.
Note. To remove the bolts of the shelf under the battery, drill three non-removable bolts with a drill with a diameter of 5 mm along the axis of the bolts.
Then loosen the bolts with (Mot. 1372).
Remove the battery shelf.
Drain the liquid from the engine cooling system.
Remove:
- band clamp for fastening 3 outlet hoses with a tool (Mot 1448);
- outlet hose 4;
- band clamp for fastening 5 of the water pump inlet pipe using a tool (Mot 1448);
- both hose clamps. connecting the oil-water cooler with an automatic transmission, using a tool (Mot 1448);
- hoses connecting the oil-water cooler with an automatic transmission;
- water pump inlet pipe 6.
Installation
Install the new water pump inlet pipe only at the level of the nozzles.
Install the water pump inlet pipe clamp using the tool (Met 1448).
Install both automatic transmission oil-water cooler hoses.
Install the hose clamps. connecting the oil-water cooler with an automatic transmission, using a tool (Mot 1448).
Install the outlet hose.
Install the outlet hose clamp with the tool (Mot 1448).
Place a shelf under the battery.
Be sure to replace the non-removable battery shelf bolts.
Tighten the battery tray bolts.
Install the battery.
Run:
- filling the engine cooling system with liquid;
- filling the cooling system with liquid;
- removal of air from the cooling circuit.
