Caution: Since cooling systems are designed to operate under pressure, beware of severe burns from escaping hot fluid.

Caution! Never remove the expansion tank cap when the engine is hot. When working in the engine compartment, beware of the sudden activation of the electric fan or electric fans of the engine cooling system. Do not open the air bleed plug or plugs when the engine is running.

Attention! If liquid leaks through the expansion tank plug valve, the valve must be replaced.

Attention! Coolant helps the engine to operate normally (provides heat exchange).

Attention! It is prohibited to pour water into the system.

Attention! When performing work that requires completely draining the fluid from the cooling system, be sure to flush the system with clean water, blow it with compressed air to remove any remaining water, fill the system with coolant, remove air from the system, and then measure its actual frost resistance.

The system must provide frost resistance:
  • at temperatures up to - 25°C ±2 for countries with cold and temperate climates;
  • at temperatures down to -40°C ±2 for countries with very cold climates.
