Removal and installation the expansion tank (Renault Sandero 1)

You will need: a 10 mm socket head, an extension, pliers, and a container for draining the coolant from the expansion tank.



1. Use pliers to squeeze the clamp securing the steam outlet hose and slide it along the hose.



2. Remove the steam outlet hose from the expansion tank branch pipe.



3. Use pliers to squeeze the fluid hose clamp and slide it off.





4. Place a container underneath to catch the coolant and remove the hose from the expansion tank. Take measures to reduce the coolant leakage from the hose, for example, by plugging it with a wooden plug.



5. Unscrew the two nuts securing the expansion tank.



6. Tilt the tank slightly in the direction shown by the arrow and remove it with an upward movement.



7. Install the expansion tank in the reverse order of removal.

8. Fill with coolant up to the "MAX" mark.
