- switch in position «Cruise control»;
- 2nd gear recognized by the ECU;
- speed not less than 30 km/h, not more than 200 km/h (for reference);
- indicator light is solid green (Cruise control);
- pressing the switch «+», «-» or «restoration of the set speed».
Shutdown conditions:
- pressing the accelerator pedal;
- pressing the brake or clutch pedal;
- pressing the switch «0»;
- switch in position «turned off»;
- intervention of the trajectory stabilization system;
- injection computer intervention;
- transmission is not included.
Pressing the accelerator pedal temporarily disables cruise control. Releasing the accelerator pedal will restore the system to normal.
Note. A flashing speed setpoint indicates to the driver that the set speed cannot be maintained.
The principle of operation of the speed limiter
Activation conditions:
- switch in position «Speed limiter»;
- 2nd gear recognized by the ECU;
- driving speed not less than 30 km/h, not more than 200 km/h (for reference);
- indicator light is continuously amber (speed limiter);
- pressing the switch «+», «-» or «restoration of the set speed».
Shutdown conditions:
- hard pressing on the accelerator pedal (overcoming resistance);
- switch in position «shutdown»;
- intervention of the trajectory stabilization system;
- injection computer intervention;
- pressing the switch «0».
When you press the accelerator pedal, the system is temporarily disabled.
Releasing the accelerator pedal will restore the system to normal.
Purpose of connectors
Three position switch:
- A1. «+» side lights.
- A2. «+» after the ignition switch (trip circuit).
- AZ. Enable/disable cruise control.
- 81. Turn on / off the speed limiter.
- 82. «Weight».
- 83. Not used.
Steering wheel switches
A - Button «resume» = resistance approximately 900 ohms.
B - Button «suspend» = resistance 0 ohm.
C - Button «+» = resistance approximately 300 ohms.
D - Button «-» = resistance approximately 100 ohms.
Accelerator pedal
The accelerator pedal has a safety stop.
1. «Weight» potentiometer 2.
2. «Weight» potentiometer 1.
3. Pedal potentiometer 1 signal.
4. Power supply for potentiometer 1.
5. Power supply for potentiometer 2.
6. Pedal 2 potentiometer signal.
Track 1 resistance is 1200±480 0m.
Track 2 resistance = 1700±680 ohms.
Attention! For normal operation, the car must be equipped with an accelerator pedal with an emphasis in the middle of the stroke.
Brake Pedal Limit Switch (double)
Cruise control uses a break contact (common with brake lights), the NO contact is used by the ABS.
Both signals are compared by the injection computer.
A1. closed contact.
A3. Opening contact.
IN 1. Opening contact.
VZ. Closing contact.
When installing the limit switch on the pedal assembly, pull the stem to select the adjustment gap.
