Removal



Place the car on a lift.

Remove:
  • top engine cover;
  • battery;
  • shelf for battery;
  • air filter housing;
  • lower reaction rod. Install the battery harness channel (1).

Move the battery wire harness channel aside.

Move the battery wire harness channel aside.


Disconnect the engine wiring harness at point (2).

Disconnect the engine wiring harness at point (2).


Install the fixture (replaces the Mot. 1367 device), consisting of engine support devices (Mot. 1672) with Mot. 1672 device, engine support crossbar (Mot. 1720) and micrometer depth gauge for determining the dimensions of the crankpins. (Mot. 1319) (see operations for right suspension).

Remove the middle mounting bolt (4) of the rear swingarm suspension support silent block support.

Slightly lift the engine until the silent block separates.

Slightly lift the engine until the silent block separates.


Remove:
  • bolts (5) for fastening the gearbox to the engine pendulum mount support;
  • mounting from the engine pendulum mount support.

Remove the mounting bolts (6) of the support to the engine pendulum support housing.



Remove the mounting bolts (6) of the support to the engine pendulum support housing.


Loosen the bolts (7) securing the left engine pendulum mount support to the body.

Remove the fastener from the engine pendulum mount housing.

Remove the fastener from the engine pendulum mount housing.


Install the mount on the engine pendulum mount housing. Tighten the pendulum mount mounting bolts to the gearbox to the specified torque of 62 Nm. Install the mount on the engine pendulum mount. Tighten the gearbox mounting bolts to the engine pendulum mount to the specified torque of 62 Nm.

Install the middle bolt securing the left support of the pendulum suspension silent block.

Tighten the middle bolt securing the silent block support of the left pendulum suspension support to the required torque of 62 Nm.

Remove all hardware. Secure the engine wiring harness.



Install the battery harness channel.

Secure the battery wire harness channel.

Install all previously removed parts back in reverse order.
