Connector R37 of the circuit between the engine harness and the injection system wiring harness is shown in the figure.
Turn off the ignition.
Disconnect the battery. Disconnect connector R37 of the circuit between the engine harness and the injection system harness (4).
M4R Engine
Connectors:
- R20 circuits between engine harness and ignition harness;
- R24 circuits between engine harness and injection system wiring harness;
- R67 circuits between the front wiring harness and the engine wiring harness.
Turn off the ignition.
Disconnect the battery.
Remove the top engine cover.
Disconnect:
- connector R20 circuit between engine harness and ignition harness (1);
- connector R24 of the circuit between the engine harness and the injection system wiring harness (2).
Disconnect the R67 connector of the circuit between the front wiring harness and the engine wiring harness (3).

Protection and switching unit
Remove the cover (1) of the protection and switching unit.
Disconnect the latches securing the protection and switching unit.
Attention: To prevent malfunctions (noise, premature wear, short circuit, etc.) after installation, mark the wiring harness route and connector connections.
