1. Attach a suitable hose to the fitting of the water removal bolt located at the bottom of the filter (e.g. aquarium air hose). Lower the other end of the hose into a receiving container.
2. Loosen the fuel line to the high pressure fuel pump (injection pump) or air bleed screw in the filter housing.
3. Loosen the water bleed screw until water starts to flow out.
4. Drain water until clean fuel flows (about 100 cm3).
5. Screw in the water removal screw and remove the hose.
6. Re-tighten the fuel line connection to the filter housing, tighten the air bleed screw by hand (if it exists).
7. Pour the contents of the receiving container into the used oil canister.
