Fuel Filter Replacement — Diesel (Renault 19)

1. Loosen the air bleed bolt.

2. Loosen the drain bolt and drain the fuel through a hose into a suitable container.

3. Pour the contents of the receiving container into the canister with the used oil.

4. Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter housing.

5. Unscrew the filter mounting bolts and remove it.

6. Dispose of the old filter element in the technical waste.

7. Insert the new filter element into the filter housing (pay attention to the direction of fuel flow!) and fill the filter housing to the brim with diesel fuel. This shortens the process of removing air from it.

8. Install the filter housing and connect the fuel lines.

9. Check for fuel leaks.
