The rear window heating should be checked in damp weather or when the glass is frozen. The heating elements fixed to the glass should create free visibility over the entire surface.
1. Check the corresponding fuse, see section Electrical wires and fuses.
2. Check the tightness of the connector connection to the heating element.
3. Remove and check the switches.
4. Check if the relay is working properly.
5. If no fault is found, check the wiring for proper operation.
6. If the heating filaments are damaged and torn, you can use silver varnish for repair. It is produced, for example, by Doduco, and can be bought at an auto parts store. You can also buy a repair kit at a Renault auto parts store.
