On the Renault 19, the gutters are sacrificed for aerodynamics. Therefore, the door seal profiles are designed in such a way that they additionally perform the function of gutters. In order for these seals to do their job properly, it is recommended to clean them at least once a year before winter.
1. To clean the door seals, treat them with a sponge and a dirt-dissolving agent.
2. Wipe the seals dry to remove any remaining dirt.
3. If necessary, treat the door seals with a rubber care product.
